Workover
The most efficient method to repair all types of wells both onshore and offshore.
Hydraulic Workover
The most efficient method to repair all types of wells both onshore and offshore is the Hydraulic Workover. The Hydraulic Workover Unit (HWU) is a versatile, cost saving and safe tool to perform the workover. By fixing wells quickly and very cost efficient, Balance Point Control has become the market leader for Hydraulic Workover services. Our efficiency on both, personnel execution and reliable units bring you ahead of your schedule.
Hydraulic Power
The HWO unit utilizes hydraulic cylinders to lift the tubular in or out of the well. This provides perfect control over tubular movements and eliminates the need for a large mast construction present on conventional drilling rigs.
Perfect Control
Hydraulic cylinders generate large pull and push forces, giving the HWO unit a small footprint and compact layout. These properties are beneficial for both offshore and onshore. Especially operations where space is limited and weather conditions can be harsh.

How it Works
Dead Well Operations
HWO is a well intervention technique used to workover dead wells. A ‘dead’ well has zero surface pressure.
Hydraulic Cylinder
The HWO unit utilizes hydraulic cylinders to lift the tubular in or out of the well. This allows perfect control over tubular movements and be capable to rotate while moving pipe.
Compact & Powerful
Hydraulic cylinders can generate large pull and push forces while giving the HWO unit a small footprint and layout. These properties are very beneficial for offshore and onshore.
